Hey everyone! I listened to someone speak recently about being disappointed. He happens to be super-awesome. Ray higdon is his name. And what Ray said really hit home for me. I just had to share with you.
Have you ever felt disappointed in your business?
I’m going to guess that’s a universal yes – who doesn’t feel disappointed from time to time!
Let me break down for you what happens when we are disappointed, but first what does it mean to be disappointed? To be disappointed means you wanted this and got this.

Disappointment prevents progress.Click To Tweet
Disappointment will keep you where you are in a frustrated nature.
So what can we do when we feel disappointed? Tony Robbins suggests trading expectations for appreciation. When we expect something to go a certain way and it doesn’t, consciously appreciate the outcome as its surely taught you a lesson.
When disappointment comes—and it always does—it’s easy to let it get you down on a number of fronts. However, for the sake of the company, the team, and your sanity, you’ll have to learn how to deal with the situation in a positive manner. One of the biggest lessons to learn is:
Stay strong and keep a good poker face.
Attitudes are highly contagious. So, if a team sees a leader in a depressive mood, it will spread like wildfire. It’s critical for leaders to maintain a good poker face.
To sum up: disappointment will kill your income, will kill your progress and will prevent you from ever reaching a level where success is inevitable. And guess what – success IS inevitable for all of us.
